Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC)
The Maritime Security Identification Card, also called an MSIC, is a nationally recognised identification card for the Maritime Industry. It does not on its own, allow access into the Port of Portland.
When the port is operating at Security Level 1, an MSIC is not required to gain access into the port, however, if the security level rises, an MSIC card must be presented along with the Port Entry Permit to allow access into the secure port area.
To apply for an MSIC, or to renew an MSIC, contact your issuing body or visit: https://www.msic.com.au/
