As Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day operations, leading teams in stevedoring activities, vessel loading and unloading, port maintenance, and shore-based operations. This involves managing labour, equipment, and materials to optimise operational efficiency whilst creating a supportive an inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and motivating teams, providing training, development, and guidance.
- Develop and maintain safe systems of work, ensuring adherence with industry regulations and organisational policies, procedures, and plans.
- Manage operational and maintenance systems and data, including service and maintenance records, compliance registers, ensuring data is complete and accurate.
- Lead risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations and embedding and driving a safety-first culture.
